Technical & urban design assistance on the first detailed programmatic study of the masterplan area. Neighborhoods were comprised of similar housing types with an assumed correlation of income group and housing type.

Third in a series of detailed, programmatic studies of the masterplan for the First Sector area. Urban designer in charge of layout of the tertiary road network, park system or landscape corridors, siting of housing and community facilities, and general layout of pedestrian network.
Coordination with Bechtel Corporation, consultant to the Saudi Arabian Royal
Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. Coordination with Colin, Buchanan & Partners of London, UK and Bechtel Corporation on interpretation of demographic statistics and economic structure studies, planning of road networks, population density mix proportional to land area and regional climatic studies. The neighborhoods were comprised of a mix of density types and an assumed correlation of mix of income groups.
